I clearly see the warnings that FBSMP is for the FBSS 6.x-2.x branch only. However... :) I love the new tweaks that IceCreamYou is making in the 3.x efforts. I have a 2 week production build for a client that I will be using FBSS pretty heavy in. Any ideas how long it will take to have FBSMP ready for 3.x life? Is the roadmap to keep FBSMP separate from FBSS or integrate it like the comments were?
As of today, and wishful thinking, using FBSMP with the 3.x FBSS throws: Fatal error: Call to undefined function _facebook_status_access_js() in .../sites/all/modules/fbsmp/fbsmp.module on line 1050
As of now, I'm building with the 2.x branch but I'm trying to build with an upgrade in mind but would love some feedback on the 3.x build intentions.
Thanks! Kevin

Mitnick commentedThanks IceCreamYou for sharing this cool module. I just upgraded to FBSS 6.x-3.x and it's nice except that I lost my FBSMP :)
Any progress yet for FBSMP for FBSS 6.x-3.x use?
Mitnick commentedFBSS 6.x-3.x is awesome (i love the submodules already integrated) and with possible FBSMP, it will be PERFECT!
rot3r1any news!
publicmind commentedIts almost here! I am working with Ice over the changed APIs which are stopping the integrations with the sub-modules.
It might be another 2-3 weekends!
igorik commentedGreat news, thanks for sharing it and for your work!
Mitnick commentedThank you very much publicmind for stepping forward to work on this very powerful sub-module. More power to you and IceCreamYou. We gonna wait for it, we're holding on....
rdeboerI also badly need the integration of Facebook-style Micropublisher functionality with Facebook-style Statuses 6.x-3.x, so that we can add attachments to "group walls".
Can't wait!
Keep up the great, great work!

wickedwookie commentedSubscribing... Is there a donation button somewhere to increase throughput on the money->coffeine->coding->FBSMP-pipeline? ;)
rdeboerI'm also happy to chip in with a fist full of $$$ if this helps accelerate the integration with Facebook-style Statuses 6.x-3.x.
publicmind commentedI am no longer accepting donations for this project. You are although free to hire another programmer if someone agrees to contribute on the project. :)
Thanks,

@publicmind
That's very honest of you. I appreciate that.
Are you able to give us an ETA of the updated module or are I you saying you are abandoning the project?
publicmind commentedAs I said before, it might be another 2-3 weekends, along with the time I am waiting for IceCreamYou to update the API to support attachments for the sub-modules integration.
publicmind commentedFor the impatient ones, just committed the workable code in the 2.x branch which is compatible with the FBSS 3.x branch.
Warning: sub-modules (activity, rules, userpoints) integration will not work as expected.
Thanks,

Mitnick commentedThanks publicmind. We will wait for you and IceCreamYou on this. More power to both of you!

publicmind commented@InTheLyonsDen
I missed answering your question in the very first post:
I would like to add to the obvious answer here, that we are having plans to merge FBSS and FBSMP in 7.x branch and just not yet.
Thanks,

Mitnick commentedAny update on this? Thanks!
publicmind commentedIf you see the releases, I have already branched fbsmp for fbss 3.x. There are a few integrations with sub modules which are pending which i will take once my hand is out of plaster.
publicmind commentedI am closing this issue as we already have branch compatible with FBSS with my latest commit. Although there are a few todo's left, I will take them up separately.
Thanks,

floridaproject commentedOur company would happily support the development of this and related modules. Please contact us if you are a developer and interested in working with our startup company. We are building theweddingfavor.com and rely on these modules quite a bit. Seeing their continued development is important to us. Thanks!
