I am new --- but can we call this module abandoned or unmaintained?

The old maintainers have a big but I cannot see anything inputted after hours looking through posts, patches, commits. Many years of effort -- and nothing for a long time.

There is no version that works without many patches. There is so much efforts and contributions but is buried and wasted in this queue.

@telonio - Thanks for bringing this up. Yes, it appears that pvanderspek and I have both fallen asleep at the wheel on this one, and my workload hasn't calmed down enough to get into the issue queue in a long time.

@pvanderspek - Do you have any ideas on how we can get this project to a good spot for:

1. A version that works without patches
2. Moving things forward (D7, etc...)
