Looks like there hasn't been a lot of action on this module lately.. I'd love to see this usable on D7/Views 3..
I've done a chunk of the initial conversion, this gets it installable anyway, but there's still some issues that need to be sorted out and I don't have enough knowledge of how the module works to spend time trying to track things down.
Hopefully someone can take this patch and run with it to get a good working version ported to D7.
This is based off of the current 6.x-2.x git branch.

Old Man commentedHas this module been abandoned? There's been no activity for over a year now. It works great in D6, but need a port to D7.

breos commentedI have installed this patch but I'm getting this error:
Notice: Undefined index: theme in views_plugin->theme_functions() (line 470 of C:\xampp\htdocs\PruebasD7\sites\all\modules\views\includes\plugins.inc).
Any of you know what is happening? I know the patch isn't a full working version....but is a working version?
Any of you have tested it?

willvincent commentedI have a feeling this needs a full rewrite for D7.. Besides the changes for the views API, it doesn't look like it is properly formatting the embed code to work with the newest version of the mapstraction JS library.
I'd thought about working on a rewrite for that, but I haven't had time to do so. As far as I can tell this module has been abandoned.

planet4sale commentedI have been able to get a View working for Google Maps with a couple of changes to the patch code.
I am seeing some notices (unless I ask Drupal not to show these messages). I have an inkling as to why I am seeing notices, but don't know enough about Drupal 7 or Views 3, to be sure.

Old Man commentedUntil Mapstraction get some love, you can use the Location and GMap modules to create a map on your site - it doesn't work as well for me as the Mapstraction, but gets the job done.

willvincent commentedUpdating the issue title so it's easier to track in the 'My Posts' view on the user dashboard.
