BSD API

The BSD API module is a connector between Blue State Digital's BSD Tools CRM platform and the Drupal content management system. The goal of the module is to allow BSD clients using the Drupal content management system the ability to access their supporter data and content within BSD Tools from Drupal, and use Drupal as a platform for updating and managing that data. The module manages the interaction between Drupal and BSD Tools, allowing you to request, post, update, and synchronize data between the two systems.

The module does not do much out of the box. It is justan API to interact with BSD Tools. There is a submodule that will collect first name, last name, and zip code from registering users, and pass all new users into your BSD Tools account. There is also an examples modules that gives code samples for how you can interact write your own custom queries for information from BSD Tools.

Future development plans include:

• Views integration
• Webforms integration
• Fields integration (so data can be synched between a field in Drupal and a constituent record in BSD Tools

There are no similar projects that exist for Drupal at this time.
