Hello all, I have really enjoyed using Plugin Manager and think this feature set is critical for the future of Drupal. I've created a Google Summer of Code Proposal to port Plugin Manager to Drupal 7 and add some new features, as well as a new API to support external repositories, and an improved Module/Theme browser.
