I have enabled the paypal module. I am trying to make account changes such as email and password but the changes are not saved unless a paypal email is entered in "Payment options." Also, there is no asterisk beside it implying that it is mandatory.

Payment option information should be optional and account changes shouldn't depend on whether the payment option information is provided.

Is this a bug?

There is no PayPal field on the user account pages, so I'm not sure what you mean. However I think Ubercart Marketplace provides such a field, if you are using that then this issue should be filed there.

Yes, I am running UberCart Marketplace so you're assumption is correct. I will create an issue there and will link to it.
