I am trying to make account changes such as password and email. I am unable to save these changes because of the Paypal payment option which requires a valid paypal email before saving changes. I do not want to enter paypal information yet and my other account changes should not be affected or dependent on it.
The payment option does not have an asterisk indicating it is mandatory, it only shows that the information is required when you try and save account edit changes. Payment option should not be mandatory. And core account changes should not be dependent on whether it is provided or not.
Is it a setting issue or a bug?

Stomper commentedThe only solution now is to put in a false email into the Paypal email field and then save. After that, as long as an email is in the Paypal field, changes to account information including password and email are doable.
Still not ideal and the issue still needs to be addressed.
