Within admin menu:
Menu item Linkedin Integration
Sub item: User page
When I choose for Tab, User Page or Block, then de block regions in the admin menu/site-constructon/ blocks disappear. Not the left column, but the other regions as the right-column.
The presentation of the site to the public is ok, unchanged.

What's the solution for this behavior?

I'm not sure I understand the problem you're having. Are you saying that setting where the user profile appears removes your theme's block regions?
