Hi,

i wanted to ask whats happend with CaseTracker in Drupal 7? Any plans? A complete rewrite based on fieldable entities? Or is someone already working on it?

I believe casetracker is still the most flexible, and easy-to-use, of all drupal's ticketing systems.

I'd like to see Case Tracker merge with Case Tracker Plus, which is a feature-complete rewrite of Case Tracker based on Features (so it's easily extensible with CCK fields, etc...). This sort of relates to an issue in the ct_plus queue: #995092: Comparison with the CT2 Plans

Disclaimer: I'm the maintainer of ct_plus, so I might be somewhat biased :)

Sounds like a good idea to merge, assuming core features are retained and upgrade path from CT.

Is the merge already in progress for 6.x or 7.x?

Im looking at something like this for several d7 site clients. I may have to do a rewrite for d7, could use some help writing up some tests so that we can make sure we dont lose any functionality.

@cmcintosh - instead of doing a complete rewrite, it would be great if Case Tracker and CT Plus could combine forces... the only setback to a D7 port of CT Plus is lack of a D7 version of Driven.

I'm currently trying to update Casetracker to work with Drupal 7.

I tried to contact one of the Casetracker maintainers but haven't receive an answer so I created a Google Code project just to use GIT and hold the code: http://code.google.com/p/casetracker-for-drupal-7/

Later I must move the code to Drupal's GIT.

I'm new to Drupal API and now I'm trying to fix some errors related to Views.
