Same as here :http://drupal.org/node/1109320 but i'm on Drupal6.
I cant add new posts in the forum but i can bay /node/add .
I have forum access installed wich show no more the options to allow or disaloww posts.
I have also:
Views 3 (Nodecomments is not installed).
Signature for forum.
Author Pane.
Troll.
It's all i can see right now wich can affect advanced_forum i try to disable those one by one see if things getting better!

It says I have to log in to post so that doesn't tell me anything.

1) Does the option come back if you disable AF?

2) Does the option come back with AF enabled but FA disabled?

Hi Michelle thank you for the quik response.
I have disabled FA, no changes.
then re enabled FA and disabled AF ,problem solved the button came back.

So with AF enabled and FA disabled, you're still not getting the link on any of your forums? If so, I'm not sure what more to ask at this point... I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't show up. :(

Many tries, i finally solve this by simply "edit the pane" then add "create forum topic list".
I feel stupid now :) .
Oh i forgot;thank you Michelle for this great module.
