What is the plan on porting this installation profile to Drupal 7?
Drupal Commerce already has an installation profile going http://drupal.org/project/commerce_kickstart

bhosmer commentedIt seems this profile is somewhat abandoned. I don't think there is an ubercart for 7 yet, so it probably depends on that.
TimelessDomain commentedthere is a d7 branch for ubercart - http://drupal.org/node/696792

bhosmer commentedYou're right. I didn't expect it so soon.

s0s commentedNot too sure what to do with it but both projects are sponsored by the commerce guys... still expecting a d7 release with ubercart?!

bhosmer commentedI would venture to say that Commerce Guys probably aren't working on ubercart any longer. They are the main driver behind drupal commerce. You really should try commerce out if you are looking for a drupal 7 e-commerce solution.

TimelessDomain commentedlongwave, Island Usurper & TR are the current active maintainers for ubercart. You should probably contact one of them and ask them to become a maintainer for this project. I don't think that any of them work for Commerce Guys. Therefore, the project has now moved beyond Commerce Guys. In general a distribution for Commerce is more needed than one for Ubercart, since Ubercart seems to be much easier to setup from scrap. The Commerce distribution is http://drupal.org/project/commerce_kickstart , though this shouldn't keep anyone from applying to take over UberDrupal for D7.

bhosmer commented@TimelessDomain I did all of that a long time ago: http://drupal.org/node/1140948
Honestly, I'm focusing my efforts now with Drupal Commerce.
Here is a patch for Drupal 6 though: http://drupal.org/node/1083292
