When I upgraded to 5.0 I was confused because the DB structure had changed, but all the old tables were still there. For example, search_database was still in my database, but terms were no longer being added. This is pretty confusing since it appears to be "broken." I say, either make this explicit in the instructions or automatically remove all unnecessary tables during the upgrade process. Thanks!

Still kind of confused. After continuing to tweak my site I noticed that those tables do exist. Either I missed them at first glance or they were added when content was indexed. Only problem is that the searchable content is now lagging behind the content on the site. I have added several pages that do not show up in any searches, and their terms are not in any of the search tables.

I'm confused ... and I'm probably not the only one. Thanks.

Old issue. Closing. This is more of a support question anyway.
