A major problem arises when the comma separated list of vote tags is altered while those same tags are enabled on content types. Seems like a prompt to the user and a query to remove all tags no longer listed is going to be needed. Had to ultimately uninstall and reinstall the module to fix the errors on my site (to delete orphaned table entries).

Sorry I don't have the DB error to offer...already fixed...

We can no longer support the Drupal 6 version of Fivestar. It is in security maintenance mode only. When the Drupal 8 version of Fivestar is released, the Drupal 6 version will be officially deprecated.
