I'd like to be able to configure which node type(s) can be forwarded. Currently, all types can be forwarded when this module is enabled. This issue Forward module places links on inappropriate pages is somewhat related.

I also need this functionality
otherwise this shows up on the About Us page, which is rather odd looking.
Perhaps the code can simply be borrowed from other modules that are configurable by node type.
If you do not plan to add this please let us know. (If you do, a comment would be great!) Thank you for all the excellent features.

I think flag this module might have this code.

The 5.x version does this already. I don't have time to backport it right now, but if someone else wants to produce a patch, I'll be happy to review and commit.
