After upgrading to 2.7, I can still use the collapse text filter in nodes, but when I use the filter in a block the filter is not applied.

with 6.x-2.7 I just tried to create a simple block with collapsed text, and I see it working
as expected. Could your problem be related to variations described in latest README ?

No more feedback on this issue for more than two years.

I would assume a solution should have already been found by ticket's author who posted more than three years ago.

Additionally since there was no further follow-up after @pukku asked whether the problem was still there, we are left to assume the problem was gone.

Since it doesn't seem like anyone ever encountered this problem again, I allowed myself to mark this issue as Fixed for now, but feel free to re-open it, or post a new ticket, at any time if you have any further objections with this ticket (we would surely be happy to hear your feedback).
