On the page /admin/content/scs_node_selection/nodes the filter by content Type field lists them by the internal 'machine-readable' name for content types.

It would improve usability if these were listed by the external 'human-readable' name.

This would make it the same list of content type names that are shown at:
/admin/settings/simplenews/scs
