Hi,
I have several 'categories' which have several sub items in each. If a child term is selected from a deepest level, is it possible to auto tags all parents terms?
I realy need this feature.
Many thanks

newnewuser commentedRead that Taxonomy force all could help but it's not upgraded to D6.
Awaiting for D6 solution for this too. I'm not a developer. Hope there's a non-programming solution!

itamair commentedsubscribe! I am working in D7, and would be really nice to automatically tag also the parent term of the choosen child.
Now I have to select and tag first the parent, with add, and then add the child ... to have both tagged.
Would be great to have this future, also as an option and non default behaviour
Thanks

newnewuser commentedSomehow, I manage to autotag parent terms..
I use Hierarchical Select module and use option "Save lineage: Save term lineage" and it works.
Yet, The problem is if I use Hierarchical select menu and show the number of node counts, the counts are duplicating. But if I display the node counts with Taxonomy block list, the counts are correct.

liberatrThe checkbox for lineage is not showing up for me in D7.

itamair commentedyes ... that options seems not to be present in D7 version :-(

fred0 commentedI can confirm that the menu option is not appearing in the D7 version even though I see it in includes/common.inc

wim leersSee #1068366: Port "save lineage" functionality to D7 + support for multiple parent taxonomies. This is a duplicate.
