I tried it. Here is what I got

patch unexpectedly ends in middle of line
patch: **** Only garbage was found in the patch input.

Is there an update on when the 5.xx version will be released?

I used the patch on
url_profile.module,v 1.2.2.4 2007/05/22 21:04:02 alexb Exp

and got this error
Fatal error: Call to undefined function leech_semaphore() in /var/www/drupal5_managingnews/modules/url_profile/url_profile.module on line 384
when the cron ran.

5 version is in repository now. Check out DRUPAL-5 branch. Should pop up on project page as soon as packaging scripts run again.
