Hi,
i am using Finder views for searching in a multiple values cck-field.
I use chekbox-field element.
If i am using configuration on the element :
- Multiple value result combination - Disjunction - Match any value using the OR operator.
i am getting correct result.
If i am using configuration on the element :
- Multiple value result combination - Conjunction - Match all values using the AND operator
no result will display. Theme thing with Intersection using the IN operator.
How works this "Conjunction" configuration?
How should I setup my finder to find multiple values with AND Operator?
many thanks markus

danielb commentedI'm sorry but I find it very difficult to give support about how to configure the settings you mentioned without understanding your data storage and your intentions, and even if I did it is still difficult. :(
Usually if 'AND' is not compatible with your data storage, then 'IN' will do the trick - this is usually for taxonomy though.
If it doesn't do what you expect, then perhaps you have misunderstood the purpose of the settings, or there is a bug related to finder's compatibility with your data set or CCK field.
The best way to understand what finder is doing is to debug the SQL queries from views, and see how that differs from what you expected.

danielb commentedThere was a bug related to this which may have affected your experience. It will be fixed in future versions. #1161318: Wrong SQL query when submitting multiple values.

samgen commentedThe problem is still there. I tried both the patch in http://drupal.org/node/1161318 and the latest dev release.
I have a simple CCK field with check boxes. I'm using views finder to search views where the field has value1 AND value2, for example. I'm having no trouble searching value1 OR value2, but the AND operation (conjunction) gives me empty result.
I guess the solution is quite simple, but I don't know where to look. Please have a look at this.
