Cancel Vote on Issue-by-Issue basis

I have both opinion polls and election polls. For most opinion polls, it's okay for the user to change (cancel/re-vote)their vote, but on the election polls, we don't want the option to be able to change the vote.

Since I added a taxonomy to separate these types of polls, it is possible, I'm assuming, to create a snippet somewhere to remove the "Cancel Vote" button. I just don't know enough yet to do this.
