Is there a module that enables the adding of photos to an album via drag & drop like DrupalGardens? That would be a really handy feature.

Do you mean the feature where you can drag multiple images from your computer's desktop onto the uploader in the web browser and it will upload them all at once?

Drupal Gardens uses http://drupal.org/project/plupload for that. See the README.txt file for more information on using Plupload with Media Gallery.

Yes, but how???
I downloaded the plupload module and the plupload library.
Enabled it, followed the instructions, yet I can only upload one file at a time...

New version fixes it. When you install it you need to make sure the version of plupload library you download is supported by the module (not newer than the module in my case).
