I received the following error every time cron is launched:

Notice: Undefined index: und in synonyms_node_update_index() (linea 79 di /var/www/mysite/sites/all/modules/synonyms/synonyms.module).
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in synonyms_node_update_index() (linea 79 di /var/www/mysite/sites/all/modules/synonyms/synonyms.module).

Moreover, searching for a existing synonym through drupal search I get no results.

It was a year ago. I am sorry your issue wasn't addressed. I have just deployed a new rewritten version of the 7th branch. If you are still interested in this module, you can download this new version.
