Issue Summary
[SparksInteractive] This is a task covered by the tile allotted to me by my employer. Discussion and patches are welcomed.
Missing ability for users without administer nodes permission to view revisions for an unpublished node
Comments
#1
Drupal by design, unpublished nodes can only be viewd by the author / admin.

Hmm... Good point. This ties in a bit with http://drupal.org/node/1152400 then. I'm going to close this and merge the discussion with the other thread.
I'm going to merge this with the above issue. It also makes sense from the point of view of the default behavior of CM having nodes published by default. This exposes them to other users that can to moderate, view, edit etc.

Reopening this. Wasn't really a duplicate after all and still needs to be dealt with. I really should get more than 3 hours sleep a night. :/

Using the revisioning module appears to sort this out fine.
Eugen, this is something that can be fixed with documentation.
Perhaps including the Revisioning module as a requirement also?
#5
okay... bad option. Revisioning is serious overkill for what we're wanting to do here. Checking other options.

Well i exactly now the approach revisioning takes. And it already has been discussed and even could be flaoting arround in an issue. I rather easy. Making revisioning an option is a overkill by the book.
Be aware that his means and override of node/% "access callback".
