Email address specified in field "From Address:" is not applied for return-path when email is sent. It seems to be totally ignored. Also the default of this field is not used.

(Note: Neither sendmail masquerading nor sendmail -f settings in php.ini specified)

I guess, I got that all wrong. "From Address" has nothing to do with return path here. But what is it good for? It is a required field when mailing a page. Why do we need a default?

This has been fixed in 5.x and 6.x. 4.7 version is no longer being maintained except for critical bugs and security issues.
