Advice needed on two related questions:

What's the best way to make forums accessible only to authenticated users (using latest Advanced Forum and Drupal7) and then to restrict some forums to some users?

I've come across two modules that look potentially useful: Content Access (http://drupal.org/project/content_access) and Forum Access (http://drupal.org/project/forum_access)

I don't know if content_access would work for forums. Forum_access should work... I tested it in a early dev version and will test it again in the near future.

Thanks. I'm using forum access and its ok, though an ability to work more easily with groups would be good. Haven't got around to trying content access yet.
