(See http://getsatisfaction.com/apture/topics/apture_drupal_installed_but_no_... for more information.)

I was using this module, along with ckeditor, to create apture embeds on many of my node bodies; but for the last few weeks have not seen the apture embed/link buttons.

Is there some debugging I should assign my developer, or is the removal of this feature due to Apture no longer supporting it?

If apture is no longer supporting the insertion/editing of these 'embed boxes' - can anyone recommend an alternative?

The same thing is happening to me, Apture used to work with ckeditor, but for the last few weeks the apture embed/link buttons are gone.

I'm experiencing the same problem.

Here is an excerpt from the Apture forum (link in #1):

Just to be clear on this: The ability to create apture embeds via my ckeditor/drupal plugin is no longer supported, and the only work-around is the "Apture Auto-Enhance as well as Apture Highlights". There is *no* way to build embed 'boxes' into my pages?

At what date will my existing embed boxes no longer function? How can I be alerted/informed so that I can prepare for this?

We'll send an email to the user base when embeds will fail to load. For now they'll continue to render.

It seems to me like the answer to my first question is an unstated "yes" - they *no* longer support the creation of embeds.

I am now looking into http://drupal.org/node/966360 and http://drupal.org/project/zemanta (any other suggestions?).
