I'm just starting to review this module suite based on a presentation Tom did at Drupal Camp Twin Cities in Minneapolis. In looking over the module description, Wow there are a lot of modules identified and also some additional dependencies, it is not practical to list them so people should take the time to look over what these other modules require as dependencies before diving in.

The description lists dependencies and well as "required" modules. I am wondering if "required" are truly required or should be called recommended? For instance I do not yet have the W3C analyzer or validator installed yet and there is no mention of them on the configuration page under presets, or indications they are not installed as there were from other modules. SEO Tools presets screen provides access to setups to some of these modules. A number of them are also not yet configured with API keys and such. If I elect not to implement some of these modules what errors should I expect?

Basically, all the modules are optional. Some are more important that others. For the most part you can leave any modules out that you want.

The SEO Tools is meant to create a integrated cross module system for doing SEO. Leaving out modules for the most part just removes that functionality. For example, if you leave out Link Intelligence, then the auto keyword linking feature and page priority reports will not be available. These are not critical components so Link Intelligence can be safely left out.

Like everybody my time is limited, but I will try to get some documentation or videos out about how to use the modules.

Drupal 6 is no longer supported.
