Instead of click "publish" on every node in my view I'd like to simply click on a single button/link to "publish all" nodes I see... is it possible?

Have you looked at views bulk operations?

yup, but VBO wants to be the view style and I actually need to use draggableviews for it, so I was searching for an as light as possible solution. Anyway I've solved my problem with a workaround in the draggableviews module, but I still think the "publish all" feature should be useful :)

With the rework done on VBO, this should now be possible...
