During barracuda installation, I received the error "This server does not have a hostname that resolves to an IP address". I guess I should have explicitly entered my hostname and IP address rather than relying on the auto-check. Is it okay to update BARRACUDA.sh.txt with this information and re-run it after a failed install, or do I need to delete my Linode completely and start over (which uses a good amount of transfer)?

omega8cc commentedYes, you can simply run BARRACUDA.sh.txt again if it failed with this error, no need to reimage the server.

narayanis commentedWhen trying to run it again, the script thought it was already installed and attempted to do an upgrade (then asked for a missing mysql password file). I wasn't sure what to do since I never reached the point of installing mariadb so there was no password, so I had to reimage.

omega8cc commentedAh, right, I didn't check where in the code is this error message and I assumed it is related to the check in the beginning, while indeed it is on Hostmaster install, so it was too late to just run the script again, I'm sorry for the confusion.
It was still possible to fix the issue manually, but if you didn't do that before, it is better to reimage.

omega8cc commentedHow to run the install again, but not from scratch, when Hostmaster install failed:
