Many people get a dynamic IP, or go to internet cafés (in under-developed countries), so can use many different IPs. So, besides the absolute IP number, it would be nice to be able to limit the IP number per unit of time, such as "no more than 2 IPs within 15 minutes and no more than 100 IPs per 30 d" ("d" stays for "days"). And it would be also nice that the license, and the access, could be automatically revoked or suspended if some threshold have been overpassed, or overpassed several times. For instance: "If, within 3 months, more than 3 times requests from 4 different IP has been received for the same user within 15 minutes, then the license is suspended during 1 month, the password is reset and a mail is issued.".

Even better: it could be progressive. For example: for the 1st time a warning, the second time a suspension, the 3rd time the revocation.

the progression functionality you have mentioned is currently not handled directly by the module.
However, all the data is there for you to be able to build different rules for access checking.

I have recently added an "on access denied" rule event, so that custom rules and actions can be set up to do something when the user is denied access to a file, ie exceeded their limits.
