It'd be handy to have a note in the INSTALL.txt noting that Deploy is only compatible with Services 2.x, especially now that the 3.x line is marked as recommended. It's noted on the project page, but should also be in the file for people who blow by the project page and just follow included instructions.

And as a side note, any plans to bring 6.x-1.x up to compatibility with Services 3.x?

The incompatibility of Services 6.x-3.x was *not* called out on the project page, causing me to loose several hours doing a "please, please, please work!" in my sandboxes tonight. Alas, it doesn't work, and probably won't.

I've edited the project page just now and yes, it would be good to also patch the readme file. I'll try to remember to do it tomorrow. Goodnight.
