I had a lot of pain getting this module installed and allowing me to configure it without getting a "white screen of death" and now I have got to the bottom of these issues (thanks to reading other posts within this issue area), my banners will not rotate?!
I have three banners configure to rotate after 5 seconds (5000ms) but only the first banner displays. If I change the settings to manual and add Prev/Next to change between slides, nothing happens and the status bar shows a # link at the end of my URL, i.e. http://sypcl.co.uk/#
Can anyone help please?:
Thanks,
Steve

stiggypop commentedAnyone?
goldenflower commentedas i dont have time to do R&D for fixing this issue so, i have created a new module for rotating banner using jQuery.
stiggypop commentedDue to the lack of support - I eventually went down this route:

robvile commentedI HAD this problem.
First, make sure you utilize the patch found in this issue thread
http://drupal.org/node/1145092
Then, go here
http://gsgd.co.uk/sandbox/jquery/easing/jquery.easing.compatibility.js
and save it as jquery.easing.js
Then, Go here
https://raw.github.com/malsup/cycle/master/jquery.cycle.all.js
and save it is as jquery.cycle.js
Then, upload your JS files to the /includes folder for the module.
Got mine working no problem.

eusonic commentedI have this problem too. Unfortunately, the fixes in #6 didn't help.
Console gives the following error: Drupal.settings.rotatingBanners[this.id] is undefined in rotating_banner.js
I have used this module in the past and really like it, but I am forced to abandon it in favor of Views Slideshow due to lack of support. Disappointing.

carole commentedMy banners were rotating tonight after I logged in, now they don't. I was debugging with firebug, updated css, closed firebug, cleared Drupal cache, browser cache, nada. If I log out it rotates. I've seen this before, when it gets stuck for a while then resolves, who knows why & days later.
