I have heavily dynamic stuff. I cant strictly server static stuff. Quizes, etc... what is a better performer for 4 core linode and barracuda?

well then why did you include percona and make so much effort to work out the bugs with it?

Why? To give a choice.

There is no one/only simple answer to your question, as it depends on what kind/set of data is used and what kind of queries are the most used. For some use Percona will be faster, while for other MariaDB will be faster/better.
