I had a forum with a few containers and a bunch of topics. After I install the category module, they're all gone. And I don't know how to get them back. Anyone else experiencing this?

did you turn on the taxonomy wrapper ? it's necessary to maintain legacy categories set up prior to installation of category.module.

wow ctownrundown we've got the exact same problem. Yes, I installed the wrapper, and the legacy module that comes with category. We we differ is that when I uninstalled the wrapper, I did not get my forums back. I had to fallback to my backed up copy (mine, not the one the category module said it would set aside).

My forum was a drupal 4.7 site that I upgraded to 5.1 and then installed the category module on. If I have the patience I will try this again later.
