It would be really great if I could create, change and delete events (especially OG-specific events) just by sending calendar appointment (iCal) compliant emails from my company Exchange/Outlook system. Is this possible? If not, is it being considered?

Found a great post somewhat related at http://www.amountaintop.com/30boxes_into_outlook, but it's not quite what I'm asking for here.

There may be a solution or some comments here on this, but my situation is a bit different from what I see posted here. I need a way to take our groups outlook calendar (with hundred's of dates and events) and import that into a drupal module. Even if there has to be some form of conversion step, it would be better, and more accurate, than manually entering the data a second time. Does anybody have any thoughts on how this might be accomplished? It won't be so bad once we get initial data entered, but that many entries at the outset is quite a bit to try to redo.

I'm going to mark this as won't fix, because I think it would be better to ask for this capability in Date API or Calendar.
