If I define group books, they normally appear in the book block for those who are permitted to see them
However, users without rights to see group private books get a duplicate occurrence of a public book
The attached screen shot shows that:
- Admin can see 2 books he is authorized; book1 (private group) and Documentation (public)
- Acanals sees 2 occurrences of the same "documentation" public book

that's weird but I'm not sure that it's related to OD as it doesn't define any blocks or permissions to anything, it's purely a wrapper for the admin/content/book admin page. Is there a block included in the OG integration that is being generated or what block are you turning on to see that duplicated presentation?

You are right.
I am using "Advanced Book Block", which seems the culprit.
The standard book block works as expected.
I'll move the issue to the ABB's
