Hello
Im looking into a method to allow for multiple users to be added to drupal at once. My website is going to be used by teachers who at times will have to add their whole class as users. At the moment, the problem I am having is that I can't get passed the password encryption methods of drupal and the database and so I can add a user but not do anything with them i.e. log-in.
Can anyone shed any light on this?

There are modules
The advanced user (or user plus, I can't remember which) is configured so you can add multiple users at once.
Another approach might be to use something like the invite module, where users with the right permissions can invite people and the invitees can then sign in with a pre-designated user role.

RE There are modules
Hi Laura
I downloaded the Advanced user module, and, although this doesn't allow multi-user input, it does allow for other things such as multi-deletes etc.
I then downloaded the user import module. This basically allows for a user to created a text file with users to be entered and their details in it. Therefore, many users can be added at once.
Thanks for you help
