This is an awesome editor, my only question is can it be enabled so that the end user doesn't need to see the html? I understand it's a plain text editor but most of my users have no idea what html is and will probably be confused seeing it there when they enter their content. I tried to edit the preview version but couldn't see how to do that. I wasn't sure if the tips you had on your site were related to this.
Anyhow, thanks for this option, it's very nice.

I would like this as well. at least some directions on how to make it.

i absolutely LOVE how lightweight and easy to extend this editor is! however i would like to be able to edit in preview mode as well as in regular mode.

please advise how can this be accomplished

if it was possible to edit in preview mode, the editor would be no longer light-weight. You should look for the lightest among wysiwyg editors.

I just want to add to the chorus here, how great it would be to have an option for preview mode that could be assigned to regular users, while the admin could use the html mode. The fact is this editor is just what I want in so many ways that the wysiwyg editors are not. For one, this allows single line breaks. And, of course, it allows you all kinds of programming shortcuts. However, it is important for users not to get confused by it. If someone were willing to make a version of this editor that could display in WYSIWYG mode or HTML mode, it would be an outstanding project. Anyone??? (I would do it but I don't know how?)
