upgrade to 5

I also really like this module and am thinking of upgrading to drupal 5 because of other functionality.
The views module is much more complex than this great module.
Please port it to drupal 5 please.

I third that! Just waiting for this one to be ported on D5 and I will convert our community site from Joomla! to Drupal!!!

Well, the module has already been upgraded to Drupal 5 since January 31, 2007.

For unknown reasons, it seems that nobody created the DRUPAL-5 TAG on CVS. Therefore the Drupal 5 version of Taxonomy Block does not appear in the mdule list.

However, if you do a checkout HEAD of Taxonomy Block using CVS, you actually get the Drupal 5.1
version.

If you are not able to do a CVS checkout, I have temporary uploaded a snapshot here:

Feel free to download and test it.

Be warned that it is not an official release, but it is working really good for me.
