Read More Link: Taming Drupal’s “read more” link

The Read More Link (formerly “Read More Tweak”) module provides a quick and easy way to control the placement of your “read more” links on teasers and in rss feeds.

Some people have observed that the current placement of the “read more” link— mixed among other links in a block separate from the teaser— may be obscure, especially for users who aren't particularly experienced with Drupal sites. Another problem is that RSS feeds that include only the teaser don't provide any hints to readers that there is more to the article. This module can help with these concerns.

It's a pretty simple module. You have a few administrator options that enable/disable the feature, and allow you to control whether or not the “read more” link will be placed after the last word of the teaser or on the line below. (Please note that there are some known issues and limitations when placing it inline.)

Thanks to Merlinofchaos for the original code that went into this module.
