Farreres commentedby the way, I am using imagefield 5x.1.1.

dopry commentedDid you create any imagecache presets? Are you using a current version of CCK 1.3, did you check the 'Display Fields' tab or the field settings form... A little info please. You gotta give people something to work with in order to help you.
If you're filing a bug report you should be able to not the mal adjusted behavior, and lets us know which buttons should be pushed, and in which order they make your drupal throw a tantrum.

Farreres commentedSorry for posting such a small bug note. I will develop.
Yes, I have some presets defined, and I am using CCK 1.3 (latest version is from 1st feb and my cck directory has this date, so I assume I am using the latest).
The fact is that when I add some content with a content type including an imagefield, I don't get the selection of preset for preferred type of view. Perhaps there is some rest from the previous imagecache install I had, but there is no uninstall option to remove everything. I already posted a request for uninstall, but well, the fact is that I am not offered this selection. No idea what more can I do to clarify things.

ctguy commentedIt sounds like I'm having the same problem. I first installed imagefield and imagecache and then my Drupal installation went haywire. I couldn't view the administration page or several others which made it quite difficult to do anything. I deleted the directories holding imagefield and imagecache and that at least made the administration pages show up again. I reinstalled imagefield and imagecache but don't have the options to select the imagecache profile when setting up the imagefield. I am using the latest full release downloads available. Any suggestions? It seems there could be a bug in there somewhere because modules really shouldn't be this unstable.

ctguy commentedI'm definitely not having that problem. I only have a bare minimum of modules installed at this point and it's still not showing up. I tried removing the imagefield and imagecache references from the system table and removing the imagecache tables; then deleted the two module folders. I then uploaded the folders again and went through the install again. I got a note when I enabled imagecache that it was installed, but I didn't see a similar comment about imagefield. I can't seem to come up with any other things to try other than going through the database by hand to see if I can find any other instances of the term imagefield and remove it. The imagefield configuration page doesn't even show a section for imagecache.

benedett commentedThis has moved in the most recent version.
If you want to assign an imagecache setting to an imagefield, try going to:
Content management >> Content types >>(Your content type) >> Display Fields.
This is where I can assign "Teaser" and "Full" to my imagefields.

abx commentedThanks benedett. That took me about 3 hours trying to find it until I found your post.
