I have searched the issues for Acidfree and seen an earlier case that was closed for this same issue five years ago. However, the versions were much older. The situation is as follows:

If I create an album with video content and choose the thumbnail for a video it will break the thumbnail for the album and it will not show. When creating an album it defaults to random and it will display any and all thumbnails for videos and/or images. However, If I choose a static thumbnail from a video file in the album it breaks the thumbnail and will only work again if I choose a thumbnail from an image in that album (which I do not plan to have albums with mixed video and image content). I am running Acidfree beta4 and the most up-to-date supporting modules.

bottlefox, I'll try to look into this tonight. I admit, I haven't spent nearly as much time looking at video support as I have image support.

Thanks for the help. Fortunately, the problem is very predictable, so it should be doable. I really like the Acidfree module. It offers a lot of features that I am looking for. So, I don't want to give up on too soon.

I think I've figured out the problem, and I've pushed a patch up into the source repository. When the next dev build is done, you should download it and try it - see if it fixes the thumbnail problem.
