An example:
If an User clicks the + Button, I want to redirect him to a specific URL to give him a gift, a thank you message or something other.
Think that the + Button could be more usefull with a rule integration.

Publishers may not direct users to click the +1 Button for purposes of misleading users. Publishers should not promote prizes, monies, or monetary equivalents in exchange for +1 Button clicks.

I know that your intention was only to put it as an example, but I put it to clarify if someone else reads this issue.

To integrate it with Rules, it will be needed some kind of AJAX implementation, since the button is pure JavaScript and this will bring another problems to the table. See more info in this other issue #1177188: Callback to execute PHP code.

99% of people won't need this feature, so I don't want to bloat the module, sorry

I will implement in September (after holidays) a javascript callback placeholder (it's part of Google+1 button API), so developers can use it for their porpouses, but that's all.
