The email this page block is showing everywhere.

I'd expect it to show only in the content types I chose in the settings (admin/settings/forward) or at least have an option.

Doesn't this make sense?

Cleaning up some of these old issues. You would use block configuration to control where the block appears. In D7, the block configuration allows control by content type.
