Is the Drupal 7 version under active development? Any target date for completion? As has been suggested in other issues, it might also be nice to combine the functionality of Account Reminder into this module to have a single module that deals with all these related issues.

No, it's not (yet). I'll update it when we upgrade our sites at Classic Graphics later this year.
