Content field settings: Year Range settings can't be saved

Using the lastest dev (July 31) I can't seem to save the settings for the available year range for my date content field. I can see the settings in the field edit page. (i.e. Some_date_fieldname > Edit tab > Some_Content_Type Settings > Default Formats and Values > Years back and forward. ) However after changing the back and forward years and saving the form the values revert back to +3 and -3. When I click on "Other" I also do not see any new text box even though the code shows the presence of a hidden input form element. Missing some jquery magic? Not fully implemented yet?
