Usability would be improved if a user could specify the number of occurrences an event should repeat for rather than specifying an end date. If a user were creating a node for a 6 week class, she could specify the date of the first class, and the number of times it should repeat (6) and the interval (weekly).
This is similar to an option available in google calendar

karens commentedI have no problem adding this. The issue has always been figuring out how to get it into the UI, the API will handle it just fine. We *do* have to either have an UNTIL date OR a COUNT. We can't have an unlimited number of dates (we can't have a 'Never' option).

damienmckennaUnfortunately the Drupal 6 version of the Date module is no longer supported. That said, we appreciate that you took time to work on this issue. Should this request still be relevant for Drupal 7 please feel free to reopen it. Thank you.
