Hi I have used simplenews successfully a few times in Drupal six but this is my first Drupal 7 build with simplenews. I am using mime mail with the simplenews module which has always worked just fine. I have tried to send a few newsletters and a few test newsletters but no activity.
The logs are showing nothing and where one would see a pending icon or sent icon I just see a black hyphen.

mhm commentedI am using Simplenews with HTML Mail, and it is sending fine. I did have a brief hiccup, but it was caused by having a system email NOT related to the domain (which my host doesn't like). Once I fixed that, everything was fine.
Can you send from the contact form?

berdirThis issue hasn't seen any activiy in quite some time, please report if this is still an issue for you.

berdirActually, this looks like an duplicate of #1313764: 7.x-1.x-dev not sending mail, closing as a duplicate of that one, then.

udayakm commentedHi,
I am using Drupal 6.16 and have got the module simplenews with mime mail in it. In the past couple of days, when I tried sending newsletters to my customers, the emails bounced back with failure report. Not even the test emails are sent. I get the error "Newsletter sent: node does not exist (nid =; vid =)."
I have tried reinstalling the simplenews template, but with no use. Actually cron is not working fine too, I get this error "The cron version has exceeded the maximum term and is therefore terminated."
Where exactly is the problem arising from? Have anybody else faced the same problem? Please help me, as I have been screwing my head on this issue for a long time now.
Udaya

simon georges commentedPlease create a new issue (on the correct version of the module) instead of hijacking an existing one.
Please provide in your report what has changed in the past couple of days. If Simplenews was working fine before, then the cause must be somewhere else. You'll see in the "Issue creation" form the details we need to be able to reproduce your case more easily.
