Petition Module

I would like to see a Petition Module. The Author provides text, and supporting parties can append their name, age, address, email address, telephone number etc to the petition.

The reason I am suggesting this is because my street has extensive construction happening. The local authorities in their wisdom has restricted construction to between 20.00 and 05.00, because the street is a secondary road that cant be closed during day times. Being woken up at 01.30 by jackhammering is NOT pleasant.

It would be good if the site Admin can **hide** information, such as the signees address and telephone numbers. In this day of spambots, email obfuscation would be a necessity as well.

When the petition is complete, it would be good for it to be able to print all information out so that the petition could be delivered to local politicians, government officials etc etc.

Im hoping that one of the Drupal Dev Guru's will take an interest in this as it would be a remarkable feature for Drupal.
