After a discussion with Neil Drumm at LondonDC I would like to work on an implementation of the features we have proposed for design.drupal.org (probably stripped back a bit) with a view to integrating these features into d.o rather than the separate subsite - this is a more ideal situation for us and Drupal.org users.

I need a test site with SSH access. I need to build views and several content types with fields so I will need extra permissions or a role with administrative type access etc.

Since you have an LDAP account, we need to decide on using it or not. LDAP accounts usually take a couple days for access to servers. We usually use local SSH users on our box for these test sites, which can be added immediately. You can't be in both places. If http://drupal.org/node/493154#comment-4928276 is happening, I'd like to remove your LDAP account and go that way.

Once the accounts are sorted out, then we provision the site, so you have the latest copy of everything.

drumm - I'd like to get started asap, and am happy to see the LDAP account removed. I'm much in favor of getting this running in d.o, and even in the unlikely event that it doesn't work out we can bring back LDAP later, I assume.

I noticed this dev site has gone unused. We have limited resources on our dev server and want to make sure projects are active. And you will want a fresh site when you can start work.

Can you approve deleting this dev site? You can re-open this issue when you have time to start this project.

Drumm - sure delete the original site if you haven't already done so.

I am not sure I will need a new site, with the constant improvements in D.O we might not need one at all.
